Mud, rain and lorries... Mud, rain and lorries...

First day is always a long day... Everything started yesterday when we decided to meet at 23h in the stables with my collegues Katta (Ludger's groom) and Steffi (Philipp's groom). We are all working in Stall Beerbaum and most of the time we share the lorry to go to the show... One hour later, all 6 horses are loaded and it looks like we gonna have a cool weekend ahead... 2 horses each, beautiful show place and lot of friends to see - what else!!!

I was feeling good so i drove all the way down to let the girls sleep a bit.. Everything was fine till we reached the show ground... It's been raining since a couple of days, and the parking place is in the middle of the race track so it's only grass... So what was supposed to happen happened: The lorry got stuck and we had to wait a couple of minutes for a tractor - like some other lorrys were stuck before...

It rained the all morning, but hopefully it stopped so i could ride my 2 horses. Marco decided to bring Cash because he's in a good shape at the moment and Allerdings as second horse for the sunday GP. I managed to sleep 2 hours in the afternoon, cause at some point you really need to... Back in the end afternoon to get them out for handwalk and grazing. So nice the ground dry so fast here...

They are now standing quiet in the box for the night. Still have to ride them tomorrow morning like Marco will be just here in time for the big class.. So now it's time to eat for me... Speak to you tomorrow..
