Alarm at 6am, but hey I'm still in my own bed, nice!! Only 3 snoozes and yes I'm up and about, let's get this show on the road!!!

I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, which can at times be a struggle, I really hate walking up and down twice, so its either everything at once or not at all, this morning I have my big bag, hand bag, bits and pieces bag, rubbish and pilou (my dog, on a lead!!). Its also difficult to get down the stairs with pilou pulling and trying not to bang my bags on the walls, which therefore marks them, confession there are a few marks from me... Finally everything in the car, not late, and off to the stables, which is just far enough away for me to play my, to die for, favorite song, once on the way...

Marcus, who was also early this morning rode the 3 boys that are coming with me to Rotterdam so I could get away on time. We had a quick panic as I had lent my extension leads from the truck, to the lady at home who does the garden, so she could cut the hedges. And as always she cut straight through it, just before I needed to take them back, to leave!!!! Luckily our local electric guy had 5 minutes to come and repair it.

Arrived in Rotterdam in good time had a big 2hrs and 40mins driving time...with a little stop!!! Steady kay don't over do it...

A little embarrassed when I arrived all the trucks were standing till the end of the road, where we pull in, I assumed they were all already parked, so cleverly started to just drive by, at which point about 3 people jumped out in front of me, stop, stop, what do you think your doing??' I still have horses on' I replied, meaning I wanted to drive to the end of the road where we park to unload. 'So does everyone else' came the reply... I looked over and saw several people sitting in their trucks looking at me, thinking who does she think she is just pushing in the line....so reverse and not feeling very small at all!!!!

As the football is going on at the moment and Germans are very into being patriotic...there is literally a competition in every village as to, who has the biggest german flag on a pole in his/her garden. Cars are decorated in flags.... This means its great for us to get cheaply everywhere stuff to decorate our team tent with....thanks mostly to Terri, who in Rome I basically had to body wrestle in order to get her in a red team t-shirt on nations cup day. Has come around to helping decorate and supplying most of the stuff.... Otto is going to be very proud of us when he arrives today. You can just feel the team spirit going on!!! No seriously!!! We even sent Emma from Christian a picture, so she's not missing out on any of the fun.

Horses oh yes!!! They are behaving like angles, I love when I only take the boys with, it so messes with their brains when I have to bring a girl along, who they fight over all weekend and have to watch her every move and obsess over most of the time.

My horses for this week;Plot the pitball boss, Copin the gentleman and Cornado the George Clooney of horses, he's also as good in the ring as George is on screen. He also knows it most of the time, but the other 2 keep his ego in line!!!

We all went for dinner which was very good and a glass of red wine. So Rotterdam is on full marks at the moment, friendly helpful people when we arrived, great food, and all the lists for tomorrows classes before 2130.... Thank you!!!

Best wishes

Kay
