Moya wins again!

Today’s 1.50 class in Stuttgart was won by Sergio Alvares Moya and the Darco gelding Wisconsin - also the winners of the Masters in Lyon. The Spanish rider was about half a second ahead of Ludger Beerbaum on Chaman in the jump-off, while Rolf-Göran Bengtsson had to settle for third with Quintero la Silla.Sergio_alvarez_Moya_Copyright_PSV_Morel_1Sergio Alvarez Moya. Eventing world champion Michael Jung won the 1.40 class, and thus beat both the jumping world champion Philipp Le Jeune – who was second – aboard Leo de Prairial, and Lauren Hough on Available Versace.

The family-affairs are continuing in Maastricht. Today Ludo Philipaert’s sons Nicola and Oliver were on top in the 1.40 class, while the Grand Prix qualifier – a 1.50 class – was won by Gert-Jan Bruggink on the nine year old mare Andrea. Roger-Yves Bost claimed second spot on Nirfane de Kreisker, and Maikel van der Vleuten – another young one with top rider genes - was second aboard VDL Groep Sapphire B, a Mr. Blue mare.
